First Post

As with all of my good wedding or relationship-related ideas, I stole this from my friend, Britt. I figured this would be a good way to keep in touch with all of our family far and wide. We will be close to immediate family for the warm months of the year, but when we head out to Indiana, the distance will increase a bit. I also do recognize that I am writing this post at 2 a.m. central standard time and I can attempt an explanation. I finished my undergraduate education on Friday and have a week off before graduation this Sunday. Because of this, I've basically done nothing but watch Grey's Anatomy and leave every now and then to eat. Another related detail to explain my late-night ramblings: Brian is currently exploring the Boundary Waters with his groomsmen. (Isn't that the type of bachelor party you would expect my dear fiance to have?) Without my nearly-hourly phone calls, I am more lonely than I should be and therefore, not tired. He should be back out on Tuesday or Wednesday which still seems like an eternity to me. So until then, I have to occupy myself with wedding plans, my three-way bridal shower and bachelorette party tomorrow (three girls in our dorm pod are engaged to be married next month), and more prime-time dramas on DVD. So long for tonight.
