November already!

Well, it has been quite some time since I posted anything. I get distracted by facebook and myfamily and then the blog is the last in line. Life has been proceeding as normal. Brian's working on his project when it allows him to. It kind of hits stand-stills and then there isn't much he can do. My job's been the same, although I do get to go to a seminar later this month to learn more about Moodle - an online classroom sort of program. I've kind of been in charge of administering it for the one class my work has.
This weekend, we made our first trip to Indy. We didn't have much planned, so on Friday I realized I hadn't been to an art museum in a long time and checked online to see what kind of museum they had here in good ol' Indiana. It turns out they have a very nice museum, free to visit, and then we paid some to see their traveling exhibit "Roman Art from the Louvre." Since I have not been to the Louvre (or east of Ohio), I wanted to see it and Brian thought it sounded fun too. We weren't allowed to take any pictures of the exhibit, but we did get some pictures of other pieces in the museum. They had a few Rodin sculptures, so that was exciting. Also, they have a giant love painting and sculpture.
We then went and hung out with Ron and Katie (Brian's friend from school and his girlfriend) because she lives in Indy. We had a fun time but boy was I tired by the time we got back! I missed our wonderful bed...futons just aren't the same. After this I decided that I never want to live without a pillow-top mattress again.
