It is a beautiful area popular for its wineries and Lake Michigan, of course.
The wedding was a beautiful affair. We traipsed all about the peninsula for the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and general merry-making. Brian was best man (again!), so I spent some good quality time with Brandon and Lisa among others. Anyway! I did go to the wedding! and took a lot of pictures. (Had to document that girl Alex was actually wearing a dress!!...very uncommon...)

Then the new couple set off on a carriage ride.
And on Sunday, we stopped by Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. (I went on Saturday with Brandon and Lisa, while Brian was busy playing best man, so we had to go again so he could see them.) This picture is from the top of the big dune that we climbed. Lake Michigan is actually in front of us and that's just another small lake behind us.
A very eventful weekend overall, and now I'm tired. Whew!
