Happy New Year!

Well, here I am! Apparently, when I'm on vacation, the blog means nothing to me! Brian was kind enough to write though. We only have one more day here in the northland before we head back to Indiana, and although we're really really really sad to be leaving, part of me is relieved to be getting back to normal, everyday life in our apartment with our cat and our stuff.
We've been having a blast with all of our family members, playing many board games, video games, and just rolling around on the floor. The kiddos have had a good time playing with Olivia and she's gotten pretty used to them again too. I have managed to frequent my favorite Ashland locations and even made a shopping trek to Duluth with Christy last week.

Today, Christy and I had a girlie afternoon and got haircuts! It's no big deal for me to chop off my beautiful locks and go for something shorter, but Christy has not had hair this short in a looooong time if ever! She looks lovely though! Here's a picture!
