Next we have my "project" that I am completely overjoyed with. We went to a Christmas party at Brian's advisor's house and I loved that she had individually framed pictures of her nieces and nephews on the wall in the dining room. So I did what I do with all great ideas that I love: I copied it! I got these really cheap frames at Ikea (3 for $1.99) and printed out some pictures of the siblings. Now we have, as Brian calls it, a "shrine to siblings." L-R top: Christy & Janelle, Jake, Amy, Middle: Tim, Benji, Abigail, Bottom: Catie, Julie, Sam.
And here is the much anticipated kitchen cart! Only $49.99, real wood and sturdy! Now we have some extra counter space and storage! Yay!!!
And the putting it together. Of course, I love the "assembly required" of Ikea furniture because I get to use my hands and make something, and this cart was no exception. Olivia decided to help me put it together. (I'm only pretending to yell at her, I love that baby!)
And one from back home of Brian with his favorite dog, Nora. (on the left) :)
In other news, I finally got my application in for an Indiana teacher's license. Now we just have to wait and see until the government offices either approve my application or hate me (I really doubt they won't grant me at least a probationary license though).
Have a great day, everyone!
