Back from MN
What an eventful week we've had! Brian left for the Boundary Waters nearly two weeks ago and they had a jolly ol' time while there. Apparently they got rained and snowed on, so it's all good.
Now for the important stuff - I made it through my first plane ride in my adult recollection! Here's a picture of my lovely view on my first flight. We went pretty high and flew pretty fast. My interesting observations about "from the air": Indiana is brown and has no trees. Chicago has many many buildings and trees...and a big lake! ...and a lot of baseball diamonds. Wisconsin is green and has trees. Minnesota looks kind of like a bog...there are lakes everywhere!!!
I had fun meeting up with college buddies in Minneapolis, but forgetful me did not bring my camera into the restaurant Th night, so you'll just have to believe me that we were actually there. That night, we stayed with the very kind and generous Pat and Hayley! I didn't take any pictures there because pretty much all we did was talk and eat chocolate! So nice to have wonderful friends in convenient locations! :)
Friday, Brian and I went shopping at the MOA with Nancy! We had to stop by Cinnabon because Nancy needed food and I'd already scarfed down some IHOP.
Then, we went to Brandon and Lisa's wedding! Brian knew both of them from high school, and I met them both in 2003, so it was fun to watch them finally get hitched! Brian was best man, so he stood up at the front all special while I sat, wandered, and took pictures. Here's a cute one Brian got of the new couple!
Met up with my college buds again in Northfield on Sunday and we had some yummy Hogan Bros! I wish I'd taken more pictures, but oh well! Next time!
